Nguyen has over 20 years of experience in investment banking, private equity and project management with Lehman Brothers, Pacific Capital and Century Computers. He holds an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and a B.S. from U.C. Berkeley. As an executive with Global Crossing, Nguyen helped execute a successful IPO and built the company's operations throughout Western Europe from the ground up. In 2001, he left Europe to sail his yacht around the world and made Hawaii his home. In 2007, Nguyen completed the Ironman World Championships in Kona.
Nguyen specializes in complex financial modeling, start-up financing, and project management. Since 2011, he has utilized these skills to help clients fund and launch new ventures, enhance financial forecasting, and implement enterprise applications. He is known for his vision, ability, and tenacity to get the job done on time and under budget. His passion for cycling led him to conceive, develop and launch HawaiiBcycle, the first hi-tech bike sharing program in North America, with grant funding secured from the Hawaii Department of Health.
